"Companies require services on their own schedule but they don't want the cost associated with maintaining a development competency. Software crises arise when business needs change demanding new architectural parameters. " |
Stoneseeker Services Having worked with a variety of companies, Stoneseeker has provided solutions in all phases of the software lifecycle. These phases include system definition, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. The phases are iterative and reentrant creating a spiral method of development which keeps engineering realities in mind while minimizing client risk. To the left is a graph that illustrates how a systems complexity changes over time. A software system goes through an evolutionary process. As time and complexity increases (the bottom axis) software gets more difficult to modify. Periodically, the system is refactored and made simpler. Stoneseeker is often called at the peaks in this graph. Software complexity is at maximum. Good system design allows for simpler development. |
